Make sure you have Christ in your Christmas!

Christmas is awesome, because you get presents, and you eat special foods, and have a Christmas tree, and get to wrap presents for each other, but.... we have Christmas to celebrate the birth of Christ. So we can celebrate Christ's birth, and other stuff I mentioned at the top. Make sure you have Christ in your Christmas!

Christmas is Coming!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here!  My birthday is 4 days after Christmas, so I'll be very busy this time of year.  I have to buy a gift for my brother, Samuel, and he has to buy for me. I already have a present for my mom, so I have to buy for my dad.  We got our Christmas tree today ( 12-8-12 ) it was fun, my dad, Max, Sam, Abby and me all went. While Jack, mom and Drew stayed home. We might decorate tonight or tomorrow night.  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Summer is Sunny and hot!

I had a great summer! My mom and dad took the three older kids Washington D.C it was fun! we went to lots of places but..... a lot of walking. We also went  to my grandparents house for a week just me Jack and Sam, for bible school. and finally our biggest trip this year was at Black Rock Retreat it was the best trip ever, it was too awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:]                                                                by Emily                                     

Starting School

School almost starts I'm excited  but my best friend is going to another school but I have more friends. I start art class, latin, and I think that's all the new stuff. I'm going in to 3rd grade I'm ready for it to start!

Our Trip to Black Rock Retreat was a Blast!

I went to Black Rock Retreat, it was awesome ,it was really fun. There's a game called Ga-Ga , you hit the ball with your hands and try to get other poeple knees and below.

We went to he pool ,the lake and at the lake there's a blob the lake was fun!

We also went tothe ball-field games they were very fun too! The first night we did a game safari, it's where the staff from black rock got dressed up like animals and some natives. the animals they were: some tigesr, lions, 1 hippo, snakes, 1ostrich, crazy and wet water buffalo, monkeys, elephelnt,and we were the hunters.The second night it rained and thunderd we were going to do olypics butit rained but we did a game inside instead. Finally we got to do the olymics, they had limbo, the long jump, parachute, sling shot, the three legged race, bowling, sprinting, crochet, and musical chairs.

well  we had a wonderful time!!!!!!!!!!          and every mornig I played with my friends and then ate braekfast and to our activities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     but...... before you knew it, it was allready over       but we had super fun!

A trip to Washington D.C. is Wonderful

I went to Washington D.C. on Wednesday[6/6/ 12]. It took us three hours to get there.  But finally we got there .My brother Max and my sister Abby were at my grandparents house. We explored the hotel we were staying at. There was an indoor swimmingpool but it was only 4 feet 6 inches, and when I jumped in I hurt myself. We also went to Mount Vernon, it was fun,  I got a token there for getting the clues all right.The next day we went to the Natoinal Mall,we saw lots of neat stuff from back then, it was cool. The next day we went to  the zoo, it wasn't the greatest though, because it didn't go in a circle and we had to back track A LOT, so... we had to do LOTS of walking, my shoes were giving me bruses. Almost every night we went swimming, once we went at 10:00 p.m. it was super fun. We got free breakfast. We went out to dinner with some of my mom and dads friends. We went to Ben and Jerrys for icecream. I'll tell you that it is wonderful in Washington D.C. We had a wonderful time in Washington D.C.

Easter is super fun

On Sunday afternoon we had an easter egg hunt in our yard.  There were very easy eggs to find, and there were very hard eggs to find.  There was a golden egg with 10 dollars in it , and ther was a silver egg that had 5 dollars in it,  everyone kept looking for the gold or silver eggs  but it wasnot easy.Mom said one was on the deck I checked all over the deck I could not find it I checked in the screened in porch and I did not find it.  I checked in the sandtable and I finally found it!  I found the gold egg and Jack found the silver one! I had a very fun easter!
